These pads offer decent stopping power, but after only 6 months and minimal pad wear, the braking surface broke away from the backing plate. Spend a little more and go with a name brand pad like EBC, Brembo,etc.

Replaced the original brakes on my FZ1 because they squealed so badly. Pads were only 25% worn and rotors smooth but embarrassing every time I stopped. What a difference from these Volar Motorsport Kevlar Brake Pads! I only changed the fronts. These brakes were so much better after just a few stops, I changed out the rears. Now I have to be careful not to lock them up. I only need half the pressure and stop twice as fast! And no squeal!
