Had mine on for over 2 years now and still works. That must be a plus. Probably not the best on the market but definately the best bang for the buck. Looks good day or night. Numbers look more vivid with white background during day and look awesome with blue background at night. The only problem I had with it was during the installation. There are no instructions on how to wire it. I'm not great with electrical so it took a bit of trial and error before I figured out which wires to tap into the wiring harness. There's only two wires that come off the unit. One to power and one to ground, you can figure out which way it goes by touching the wires to a 9 volt battery. If it doesn't work one way try the other way and it should light up a bit. That's how you find the positive power connection and the negative ground connection. That's the easy part. Trying to figure out which wires to connect to on the harness was a bit challenging and required the use of my bike's wiring harness diagram and some trial and error. The way that worked for me, eventually, was by observing with a volt meter which wires from the harness had power when the key was in the off and on position and also when the bike was running. Do not connect to the wire that is always on even with the key in the off position. This will drain your battery because your glow gauge will always be on. This wire is probably sending power to your clock. Some wires will have power only when the key is in the on position but will cut power when the bike is running. Don't connect to thee either because your gauge will not light up while riding your bike. This wire is probably for the system check lights that occur when you turn the key on and all the lights on your tach turn on. You want to connect to the wire that has power when you turn the key on and continues to have power when you run the bike. This is probably your headlight power wire because your headlight is always on after you turn the key on and run the bike. Do not connect to the highbeam or your glow guage will only work when you have the highbeam activated. Ok, aside from that the ground wire should be pretty easy to connect. Hopefully still would help you in any of your wiring situations.
