These pegs take a beating. I have installed these on three bikes that we race hare scrambles on. The only thing that a new set needs is a small peice of flat steel welded beneath where the pin goes through, closest to the foot rest side. This will allow the return spring to make contact with the footpeg and work properly. I just bought three more pairs, One I just installed and two pairs for future use.
