It may have just been the seal driver I was using but I believe that one of the slip rings (plastic composite, not metal like some seals out there) folded up on the top of the outer tube. Made it pretty tedious to set. Everything here was the right size, just wasnt particularly happy about the plastic replacement for a metal part. Other than that, no problems, slipped into the inner tube easy, and has held up through the test ride. I recommend riding a bit with no air in the forks and then tuning to your specific stiffness desire.
Side note: I had trouble finding the exact diameter of the "Yamaha special tool"(fork seal driver) and got a universal driver. I used the 40-41mm driver to set the oil seal, and 42-43mm to set the dust seal, but I believe you can get away with the 43mm alone. The newer fork drivers are way too big at 44-48mm general average.
